O-Zones steady climb to No. 1

After 10 weeks on the Singles Chart O-Zone claim the No1 spot with their summer hit 'Dragostea Din Tei' ending the Streets' 'Dry YOur Eyes' 3 week reign at the top. Counting Crows hold on to No3 with 'Accidentally In Love' (from Shrek 2) as D12 climbs to No4 with 'How Come'. This week's highest new entry is 3 Of A Kind who enter the chart at No15 with 'Baby Cakes'.


This week's Album Chart sees the Top 3 dominated by albums that have been released for some time. Over six months from release Snow Patrol finally make it to the top of the Album Chart with 'Final Straw', Anastacia, after 20 weeks in the chart, also makes her best position as her self-titled release moves up to No2 and Damien Rice's 'O' climbs 12 places to No3. The Devlins provide this week's highest new entry as 'Waves' enters the chart at No15 - a higher first week postion than their last abum 'Consent' which entered the chart at No20.
