PS2 Splinter Cell can't help knock Champ Manager off No1

The All Software (All Formats) Top 40 sees Eidos’ PC ‘Championship Manager 4’ at No1 for a 2nd consecutive week.


Ubisoft remain at No2 thanks to PS2/XB/PC ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell’ (PS2 was new last week) and EA’s PS2/PC/XB/GC ‘The Sims’ climbs 4 places to No3 as XBox and Gamecube versions debut this week. Capcom drop one place to No4 with PS2 ‘Devil May Cry 2’ and Konami climb 3 places to No5 with PS2/XB/PC ‘Metal Gear Solid 2 – Substance’. Nintendo’s GBA ‘Zelda 3’ drops one place to No6, Sony’s PS2 ‘The Getaway’ climbs 4 places to No7 and Take 2’s PS2 ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City’ climbs 4 places to No8. Focus Multimedia enjoy some success with PC ‘Driving Test Success 2002/2003’ as the title rockets 30 places to No9 thanks to retail promotional activity. Novalogic’s PC ‘Delta Force: Black Hawk Down’ completes the Top 10, having debuted at No9 last week.
