Zumba Unshakable at the Top

An extremely quiet week for new releases ensures 505 Games’ ‘Zumba Fitness’ ( -7%) holds on to top spot in the All Formats Chart.

It’s now 9 consecutive weeks at No1 (12 in total) for what has already become the 7th biggest selling third-party Wii title ever in the UK.  The Top 10 titles shuffle amongst themselves with Disney’s ‘Lego Pirates of the Caribbean’ (+24%) the biggest mover, up 3 places to No2 thanks to retailer price promotions.  Disney also find themselves at No3 with ‘Cars 2’ (-17%) a non-mover.  Codemasters’ ‘Dirt 3’ (-21%) slips 2 places to No4, ahead of ‘FIFA 11’ (+5%) at No5.  ‘Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4’ (+7%) manages to jump 2 places to No6, while Ubisoft’s ‘Just Dance 2: Extra Songs’ (-32%) and ‘Call of Juarez: The Cartel’ (-19%) both slide to No’s 7 & 8 respectively.  ‘The Sims 3’ (- 8%) sneaks past ‘L.A. Noire’ (-22%), into the Top 10 for the first time since February, up 2 places to No9.  A huge jump from No39 to No13 for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D’ (+60%) accompanies the recent 3DS console hardware price drop; however it is still the only 3DS exclusive game in the Top 40, outselling the next biggest 3DS title by nearly 5 to 1.
