Jessie’s Domino Dominates


Nearly a year after her first Irish No1 single (‘Price Tag’), Jessie J returns to the top of the Chart this week to repeat that feat with ‘Domino’, climbing from last week’s No3.

Flo Rida drops a place to No2 with ‘Good Feeling’ after just one week at the top while Olly Murs’ ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ also drops a place to No3.  Rizzle Kicks climb thirteen places to enter the Top 5 at No4 with ‘Mama Do The Hump’ while Lloyd, Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne climb six places with ‘Dedication To My Ex’ to complete the Top 5.  Gotye makes his first ever appearance in the Irish Top 10 with his collaboration with Kimbra ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ climbing thirty eight places to No9 while One Direction achieve this week’s highest new entry with their fourth single ‘One Thing’ entering at No15.

Adele takes yet another week at the top of the Album Chart to increase her tally to 32 weeks at the top with ‘21’, her nearest rival Olly Murs holds steady at No2 with ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’ while Florence + The Machine’s ‘Ceremonials’ climbs back up two places to No3.  After a much lauded performance at Dublin’s Olympia on Saturday, Scala &  Kolacny Brothers re-enter the Album Chart after an absence of thirteen weeks with their self-titled release to give them their highest appearance in this chart to date at No10.
