Eric Prydz calls on the Top Spot

After debuting at No8 three weeks ago and then spending 2 weeks at No2, Eric Prydz climbs to the top of the Singles Chart this week with 'Call On Me'. Brian McFadden's 'Real To Me' drops to No2 after 4 weeks at No1, ahead of 3 Of A Kind's 'Baby Cakes' which climbs to No3 after 8 weeks in the Top20. Rachel Stevens has this week's highest new entry at No5 with 'More More More', just ahead of Robbie Williams 'Radio', new at No6.


R.E.M. debut at No1 on the Albums Chart with 'Around The Sun', maintaining an impressive hit-rate: of their 7 most recent albums, 5 have made it to No1 ('Monster', 'New Adventures In Hi-Fi', 'Reveal', 'In Time: The Best Of' and 'Around The Sun') and 2 have peaked at No2 ('Automatic For The People' and 'Up'). George Murphy debuts just behind R.E.M. at No2 with 'Dreamed A Dream', while Maroon 5 drop one place to No3 with 'Songs About Jane'. There are 2 further new entries in this week's Top 10: Tom Waits 'Real Gone' at No9 and Interpol's 'Antics' at No10.
