Skylanders Giants fails to kick FIFA out


It’s another No1 for ‘FIFA 13’ (-33%) as it takes a fourth consecutive week at the top of the chart.

It’s a big week for Activision Blizzard and developer Toys for Bob with ‘Skylanders Giants’ landing at No2. The sequel to the hugely successful ‘Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure’ smashes the debut chart position of its predecssor which came in at No16 just over a year ago in Week 41 2011. Bethesda drop down a place to No3 with ‘Dishonored’ (-51%) but see a debut at No5 for the release of ‘Doom 3: BFG Edition. Developed by ID Software the horror favourite gets a re-release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC boasting stunning visuals as well as all new content and missions.

Sandwiched in between the pair is Ubisoft’s ‘Just Dance 4 (-18%) which climbs two places to No4. Pokemon Black Version 2 (-59%) and Pokemon White Version 2 (-62%) both slip down the chart to No6 and No9. ‘Resident Evil 6’ (-52%) also drops from No4 to No7 while ‘Borderlands 2’ (-33%) holds on to its No8 spot. Take 2’s’ ‘XCOM: Enemy Unknown ‘ (-55%) moves down from No7 to No10. Bond is back and although he’s not on the big screen just yet Activision’s ‘007 Legends’ debuts outside of the Top 10 at No12. The release of ‘Rocksmith’ (+5%) on PC sees Ubisoft’s title stay at No14.
