Eric impresses with 4 in a row

29/Oct/2004

Eric Prydz makes it 4 weeks at No1 on the Singles Chart with 'Call On Me', still ahead of Shannon Noll's 'What About Me' at No2. 3 Of A Kind climb back to No3 with 'Baby Cakes' after an impressive 12 weeks in the Top 20, and Aslan drop one place to No4 with 'Crazy World'. In one of the quietest singles charts for years, the highest new entry comes in at No12: Ja Rule (feat. R. Kelly and Ashanti) 'Wonderful', the sole new entry in the Top 20.

Robbie Williams 'Greatest Hits' has a second week at No1 on the Album Chart, denying the top spot again to Luke Kelly's 'Best Of' which has a third week at No2. Leonard Cohen has this week's highest new entry at No5 with 'Dear Heather', surpassing the No7 debut of his 'Ten New Songs' three years ago. Elliott Smith's posthumous 'From A Basement On The Hill' is the next highest new entry at No11, his first album to make the Irish Top 40.
