7 week Chart leader Need for Speed slows down

Sales of EA’s multi-format ‘Need For Speed: Underground 2’ may be slowing (down 60%), but it still makes the 2005 Entertainment Software All Formats starting grid at No1 for a seventh week.


All Top 40 games experience a drop in sales, but Vivendi comes away with the highest Top 10 and Top 40 climbers - ‘The Simpson’s: Hit & Run’ up from No8 to No4 and ‘Half-Life 2’ (PC) up from No34 to No21 (both down 37% week-on-week, less than any other Top 40 title). Nintendo’s ‘The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords’ (GC) does not make the Entertainment Software (All Prices) Top 40, but comes in at No36 in the Full Price Entertainment Chart and at No1 on the Gamecube Chart.
