After weeks of turbulence at the top of the Singles Chart, the top 3 titles remain unchanged from last week.
Nelly and Tim McGraw hold at No1 for a second week with 'Over and Over', Jennifer Lopez is steady at No2 with 'Get Right' and Brian & Delta's 'Almost Here' remains at No3. Britney Spears has this week's highest new entry at No4 with 'Do Somethin' - her 17th Top 10 single in Ireland from 18 releases ('Don't Let me Be The Last To Know' peaked at No12 in April 2001). The Killers have a remarkable seventh week at No1 on the Albums Chart this week with 'Hot Fuss', the longest consecutive run at the top of this chart since The Beatles '1' spent 10 weeks at No1 around Christmas 2000. Green Day climb back 2 places to No2 with 'American Idiot', ahead of Damien Rice's perennial 'O' at No3, up from No6 last week. KT Tunstall's 'Eye To The Telescope' is this week's highest climber in the Top 40, up 18 places from No23 to No5, after climbing steadily up the rankings each week since release at the end of last year.
