One Good Week for Derek Ryan

Derek Ryan releases his sixth studio album this week - 'One Good Night' - leap-frogging Iron Maiden's 16th release 'Book of Souls' and landing straight on the top of the Album Chart.


This is his second time at the top of this Chart - 2014's 'The Simple Things' also debuted at No1 this time last year. He heads a handful of new entries in this week's Top 40: Iron Maiden at No2, Australian Troye Sivan's second major-label EP 'Wild' debuts at No5, British duo Bars and Melody's album '143' comes in at at No11 while A-ha see their latest offering 'Cast In Steel', their first release for six years, enter the Chart at No33. Five Finger Death Punch achieve their best ever showing on this Chart as 'Got Your Six' arrives in the Chart at No46.


Justin Bieber manages to retain his top spot in this week's Singles Charts for a second week, residing over a Top 3 unchanged from last week - Weeknd stays at No2 with 'Can't Feel My Face' and Calvin Harris & Disciples stay at No3 with 'How Deep Is Your Love'.

Sigala proves to be this week's highest climber as his single 'Easy Love' climbs from No53 to No4 while Walk The Moon's 'Shut Up And Dance' drops to place to complete the Top 5. Kygo and Ella Henderson's new track claims this week's only new entry to the Top 50, with 'Here for You' debuting at No37.
