The Brits Effect

26/Feb/2016

After picking up 4 gongs at this week's Brit Awards Adele takes '25' back to the top of the Album Chart giving her a seventh week at the No1.

Walking On Cars drop from the top to No2 with 'Everything This Way' while another Brit Winner Justin Bieber holds steady at No3 with 'Purpose'. James Bay gets a boost for 'Chaos And The Calm' which climbs eleven places from No33 to No22. There are two new entries making an impact on this week's Top 40; after winning the critics choice Brit award Jack Garratt see his debut album 'Phase' enter the chart at No20 while Corkman Brian Deady breaks into the Top 40 at No35 with 'Non-Fiction'.

There is no change at the top of this week's Singles Chart as Lukas Graham hold on for a second week with '7 Years'. Jonas Blue and Dakota continue their climb up the Chart making it to No2 this week with 'Fast Car' while Zayn's 'Pillowtalk' drops a place to No3. You have to travel a long way down this week's charts to find a new entry as The 1975 enter at No70 with 'Somebody Else' a track off their latest album due out next week
