25 Still On Top!

15/Apr/2016

Similar to last week's charts, we see little change at the top this week despite a number of successful new entries; Adele maintains her No1 spot for another week with '25'.

Walking on Cars' 'Everything This Way' stays at No2 whilst Smokie's 'The Best of Smokie' reaches No3 following recent pricing promotions. This makes room for The Lumineers' latest album 'Cleopatra' which joins the charts this week at No4, leaving 'The Very Best Of Ennio Morricone' to climb from No10 last week to No5 this week. With only one other new entry into this week's Top20 - Deftones with their eighth studio album 'Gore' at No17 - the iconic All Saints achieve No29 with their first release in ten years entitled 'Red Flag'. Other new entries include Scottish indie rock outfit Frightened Rabbit's 'Painting of A Panic Attack' at No42 and French electronic group M83 with their seventh studio album 'Junk' at No52.

With little change to the top of the Singles Charts, Sia and Sean Paul hold their No1 spot with 'Cheap Thrills' whilst Mike Posner holds No2 with 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza'. Fifth Harmony feat. TY Dolla $ign remain at No3 with 'Work From Home whilst Zara Larsson stays at No4 with 'Lush Life' - leaving No5 to 'Twenty One Pilots with 'Stressed Out' from their 2015 album 'Blurryface'.
