Blink-182 achieve their highest chart position with brand new album 'California'!

Following last week's post-Glastonbury shakeup; Beyonce climbs back to the No1 spot with her video album 'Lemonade' ahead of her concert this weekend at Croke Park. Adele holds No2 with '25' whilst Christine and the Queens move up two places to No3 with 'Chaleur Humaine'. With Drake holding the No4 spot with 'Views' we see Blink-182 release their first album in five years - with a new lineup. Despite classic member Tom Delonge leaving the band to pursue his passion of UFO research full-time, Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba steps up to help the timeless pop-punk outfit deliver their best performing album ever in these charts, 'California' - debuting at No5. New entries this week include Bat For Lashes' fourth studio album 'The Bride' which enters in its first week at No18. Last of the new entries this week; UK electronic outfit Metronomy release their fifth studio album 'Summer 08' which debuts at No49. Finally, following an RTE documentary exploring the legacy of Irish folk legend Luke Kelly, two different compilation albums; 'The Collection' and 'The Definitive Collection' make an appearance in this week's Top50 at Nos 36 and 41 respectively.

As much of this summer has seen, the Singles Charts see no new entries into the Top50. Fifth Harmony feat. Fetty Wap enter at No76 with 'All In My Head'. - only to be followed by ex Black Eyed Pea Fergie released her new track 'M.I.L.F $' this week which debuts at No78.
