It All Goes Swimmingly For Lisa

Five years on since her last studio release Lisa Hannigan gains her second Album number 1 as 'At Swim' heads straight to the top of the chart.


Lisa's 2011 album 'Passenger' also debuted at No1 while her 2009 'Sea Saw' peaked at No3. She is closely followed by Frank Ocean, also releasing his third studio album, 'Blonde', which debuts at No2 giving him his best showing in this chart - 2012's 'Channel Orange' peaked at No17 and re-entered the Top 40 this week at No34. Last week's No1, Picture This, drop to No3 while Christine & The Queens and Justin Bieber both climb a place to occupy Nos 4 & 5 respectively. Ricky Gervais takes the third new entry in this week's Album chart with his alter-ego David Brent and the soundtrack to his latest film mockumentary 'Life On The Road' which enters at No21 while Dolly Parton takes her 43rd solo studio album - 'Pure & Simple' into the chart at No33. The final new entry in this week's Top 50 goes to Dublin's Jonathon Ng aka Eden with his latest EP 'I Think You Think Too Much Of Me' entering at No43.

Major Lazer's 'Cold Water' resides over an almost unchanged Top 10 from last week as it takes fifth week at No1 in this week's Singles Chart. It is a long way down the to the first new entry this week - No53 for Ellie Goulding with 'Still Falling For You'
