Still Top Of The Tree


Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds hold onto the No1 slot on this weeks Album Chart for a second week with 'Skeleton Tree'.

Ed Sheeran climbs another place this week to take 'X' back to No2 having now spent 108 weeks of his 118 week chart run in the Top 10, while Drake also climbs this week from No6 to No3 with 'Views'. This week's highest new entry goes to family trio Greenshine for their new release 'The Girl In The Lavender Dress' which enters at No29 while another Irish act Booka Brass Band take their debut album 'Chilled Milk' into the chart at No73. Usher is the final new entry in this week's Top 77 as his 8th studio release enters at No73. After winning this years Mercury Music Prize Skepta sees 'Konnichiwa' re-enter the Chart at No60.

There is no change at the top this week on the Singles Chart as the Chainsmokers hold on to the No1 spot for a fourth week with 'Closer' residing over a Top 3 unchanged from last week. Sia & Kendrick Lamar climb a place to No4 with 'The Greatest' while Calvin Harris takes the only new entry in this week's Top 50 as 'My Way' enters at No8.
