Winter clearout!

Stock clearouts from a large number of stores causes dozens of older albums to re-enter the Top100 Album Chart this week to the detriment of new entries.

With Bon Iver's third studio album '22, A Million' debuting at No4 - the next new entry can be found all the way down at No28; Van Morrison with 'Keep Me Singing'. With these as the only new entries to make it into this week's Top50, reentries include Ed Sheeran's 'X' at No1, followed by Rihanna's 'Anti' which moved up from No25 last week. Ed Sheeran also takes No3 with '+' whilst David Bowie's final album 'Blackstar' climbs from No29 to No5. Biggest movers this week include U2's 'Songs of Innocence' which climbs from outside the Top100 to become firmly planted at No6 - and they're followed by the Rolling Stones' 'Sticky Fingers', also making it into the Top10 at No7 from outside the Top100 last week.

In the singles charts, we see little change; Chainsmokers feat. Halsey hold onto the No1 spot with 'Closer' whilst James Arthur's 'Say You Won't Let Go' takes No2 from No8 last week - at No3. DJ Snake and Justin Bieber sit at No3 with 'Let Me Love You'. Following Sia feat Kendrick Lamar's 'The Greatest' and Calvin Harris' 'My Way' at Nos 4 and 5 respectively, No6 is this week's only new entry into the Top20 Singles with ex directioner Niall Horan's 'This Town'.
