James Arthur back at No1


With Leonard Cohen holding No1 in the Album Charts with his latest release 'You Want It Darker', X-Factor 2012 winner James Arthur's comeback single 'Say You Won't Let Go' takes No1 for a third week on the Singles Chart.

James Arthur's new album 'Back From The Edge' peaks at No2 this week whilst Irish singer-songwriter Declan O'Rourke takes the No3 spot with his fifth studio album 'In Full Colour', giving him his highest charting to date. Kings of Leon hold steady at No4 with 'Walls' while Lady Gaga slips two places to No5 with 'Joanne'. Forty four years on from their formation, Irish folk band Planxty enter at No10 with their new anthology 'Between The Jigs and Reels: A Retrospective' while Avenged Sevenfold take No16 with their seventh studio album 'The Stage'. Madness' twelfth studio album 'Can't Touch Us Now' enters at No25. Other new entries this week include Kate Rusby at No30 with 'Life in a Paper Boat', Tove Lo with 'Lady Wood' at No32 and David Gray's 'Best Of' entering this week at No53.

With James Arthur topping the Singles Chart, last week's No1 drops to No2 - Little Mix with 'Shout Out To My Ex' as Chainsmokers feat. Halsey hold onto No3 with 'Closer'. Drake makes this week's biggest climb, moving up 50 positions to No19 with 'Fake Love' whilst the only other new entries this week fail to make it into the Top50. Jonas Blue feat. Raye reach No52 with 'By Your Side', Starley takes No68 with 'Call On Me' and Louisa Johnson takes No69 with 'So Good'.
