Glory Days for Little Mix

Little Mix's 'Glory Days' holds on to the top slot in this week's Album Chart for a second week in an unchanged Top 3 from last week.

With Leonard Cohen and The Weeknd holding firm the Rolling Stones have to be content with a No4 entry into the chart for their 23rd studio album 'Blue & Lonesome'. This is their first studio release for 11 years - 2005's 'A Bigger Bang' debuted at No18. Despite not being available to either download or stream, Garth Brooks continues to climb the chart with 'Gunslinger', his tenth studio release entering the Top 10 at No9 up from last week's No20. The only other new entry in this week's Top 30 goes to Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) as he makes his debut on this chart with his third album release 'Awaken, My Love!' entering at No28.

Clean Bandit hold on at No1 for a fourth week with 'Rockabye' in this week's Singles Chart in an almost unchanged Top 10. The main exception being Aoife Parle who takes her charity release 'Silver Lining' up to No5 from last week's No39. As always, at this time of year some of the Christmas favourites begin to make an impact on the Top 50 - Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' climbs to No10, The Pogues 'Fairytale Of New York' climbs to No19, Wham see 'Last Christmas' re-enter the chart at No 34 and Shakin' Stevens makes a re-appearance at No45 with 'Merry Christmas Everyone'.
