Cash On Demand

Arctic Monkeys take a third week at the top of the Albums Chart this week, but it’s Johnny Cash who’s making the most impact, with 3 albums in the Top 20 fuelled by ‘Walk The Line’s box office success.

‘Ring Of Fire – The Legend Of’ climbs from No7 to No2, ‘Walking The Line’ is up from No22 to No13, and ‘Folsom Prison/San Quentin’ leaps from No34 to No17. Frances Black has this week’s highest new entry at No20 with ‘This Love Will Carry’, her first solo release since ‘How High The Moon’ which peaked at No44 in 2003. Shayne Ward has a sixth week at No1 on the Singles Chart with ‘That’s My Goal’, followed at No2 by Nizlopi ‘JCB Song’ and at No3 by Chris Brown’s ‘Run It!’. The Source feat. Candi Staton have this week’s highest new entry at No6 with their classic ‘You Got The Love’ on its third release - initially released in 1991, when it failed to chart in Ireland, and re-released in 1997 when it reached No28. The only other new entry in this week’s Top 20 is at No19 for Meck’s reworking of Leo Sayer’s ‘Thunder In My Heart’, originally a hit in 1977 when it reached No11.
