Second Helping For Pat Shortt

After debuting at No1 last week, Pat Shortt has a second week at the top of the Singles Chart with ‘Jumbo Breakfast Roll’, way ahead of the 2 nearest challengers which are both new entries.


Pussycat Dolls enter at No2 with their third single ‘Beep’, following ‘Don’t Cha’ which debuted at No1 and ‘Stick Wit U’ which debuted at No2 last year. X-Factor contestant Chico is new at No3 with his first release ‘It’s Chico Time’, just ahead of the show’s winner Shayne Ward, who slips from No2 to No4 this week with ‘That’s My Goal’. Johnny Cash returns to the top of the Albums Chart with ‘Ring Of Fire – The Legend’, and in the same week ‘Walk The Line – Original Soundtrack’ holds at No1 on the Compilation Chart. Rodrigo y Gabriela drop to No2 after one week at the top, ahead of Arctic Monkeys ‘Whatever People Say I Am’ steady at No3. Corinne Bailey Rae has this week’s highest new entry at No5 with her eponymous debut album, bringing a slice of blues to an eclectic Top 10 which includes country, latin, rock, pop, r’n’b and dance.
