Chili Peppers Still Hot

Red Hot Chili Peppers ‘Stadium Arcadium’ has a second week at No1 on the Albums Chart this week, ahead of 2 non-movers - Snow Patrol at No2 and Shayne Ward at No3.

Jack White’s ‘other band’ The Raconteurs have this week’s highest new entry at No4 with their debut album ‘Broken Boy Soldiers’, just one position below the No3 debuts for ‘Elephant’ and ‘Get Behind Me Satan’, JW’s most recent White Stripes albums. George Murphy has the only other new entry in the Top 10, coming in at No7 with his second album ‘And The Story Goes’. His debut ‘Dreamed A Dream’ was a No1 album back in October 2004 following his ‘You’re A Star’ success. It’s another quiet week on the Singles Chart singles, with no change in the Top 4 since last week: Gnarls Barkley make it 6 weeks at No1 with ‘Crazy’, followed by Shane Ward’s ‘No Promises’, Mary J Blige & U2 ‘One’ and Rihanna ‘SOS’. Busta Rymes has this week’s highest new entry at No9 with ‘Touch It’, his fourth Top 10 single in Ireland following ‘Turn It Up’ in 1998, ‘I Know What You Want’ in 2003 and last year’s No1 with Pusscat Dolls ‘Don’t Cha’.
