Scissor Sisters Cut The Cost

29/Sep/2006

The Scissor Sisters have a second week at No1 on the Album Chart with ‘Ta-Dah’, just ahead of The Frames who debut at No2 with their sixth album ‘The Cost’. Their two previous albums ‘Burn The Maps’ (2004) and ‘Set List’ (2003) both debuted at No1.

Snow Patrol hold at No3 with ‘Eyes Open’, ahead of Justin Timberlake ‘Futuresex/Lovesounds’ at No4 and Rod Stewart ‘The Best Of’ at No5. Cascada returns to the top of the Singles Chart this week with ‘Everytime We Touch’ after 4 weeks at No2 – the first artist to go back to No1 since Nizlopi last year, and the first artist since Las Ketchup in 2002 to return to the top after a 4 week break. Justin Timberlake’s ‘Sexyback’ dips to No2, followed at No3 and No4 by non-movers The Scissor Sisters ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ and Chamillionaire ‘Ridin’. There are no new entries in this week’s Top 10 - the highest is at No14 for St. Julien with their debut single ‘Just Because’.
