Six of the Best for Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol celebrate another week at No1 on the Album Chart with ‘Eyes Open’, their sixth week at the top since release, but the first time they’ve managed two consecutive weeks.

Razorlight climb back up the chart for a fifth week in a row, up from No3 to No2 this week - they’re still chasing the elusive top spot having now had five weeks in the runners-up position. Amy Winehouse has a similar steady 5-week climb up the chart, up from No4 to No3 with ‘Back To Black’, fuelled by two Top 40 singles – ‘Rehab’ at No27 and ‘You Know I’m No Good’ at No39. Leona sits comfortably on top of the Singles Chart for a fifth consecutive week with ‘A Moment Like This’, ahead of Akon’s ‘Smack That’ at No2 and Cascada’s ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ at No3. Just Jack is this week’s highest climber, up from download-only No28 last week to No4 with ‘Starz In Their Eyes’, and is also this week’s most downloaded song. Highest new entry honours go to Mika with ‘Grace Kelly’ at No9, just ahead of the only other new entry in this week’s Top 10 - 2006 Australian Idol winner Damien Leith who debuts at No10 with ‘Night Of My Life’.
