16/Mar/2007

Mika holds at No1 on the Singles Chart for a seventh week with ‘Grace Kelly’, despite a strong challenge from ‘You’re A Star’ hopefuls 21 Demands who storm in at No2 with downloads of ‘Give Me A Minute’.

The Fray’s ‘How To Save A Life’ drops to No3, ahead of Cascada’s ‘Miracle, up from No8 to No4. Despite leaving ‘You’re A Star’ last weekend, Scuba Dice have the next new entry at No8 with ‘Holiday’, well ahead of semi-finalists David O’Connor and Maeve O’Donovan who come in at No20 and No25 respectively. The only other new entry in the Top 20 is this year’s Comic Relief single from Sugababes & Girls Aloud at No16 – a reworking of Aerosmith & Run DMC’s 1986 classic ‘Walk This Way’. Cascada’s ‘Everytime We Touch’ climbs one place from No2 to claim the top spot on this week’s Album Chart, swapping places with Arcade Fire’s ‘Neon Bible’ which drops to No2 after debuting at No1 last week. Bonnie Tyler’s ‘From The Heart – Greatest Hits’ is this week’s highest new entry at No4, ahead of X-Factor runner-up Ray Quinn who comes in at No6 with his self-titled debut album.
