Magical increase in sales for No1 Harry Potter

07/Jun/2004

EA’s ‘Harry Potter – Prisoner Of Azkaban’ (PS2/XB/GC/GBA/PC) takes a second week at No1 as sales increase 81% over last week.

EA’s ‘UEFA Euro 2004 Portugal’ (PS2/XB/PC) is up 17% over last week and remains No2, no doubt helped by the increased build-up towards the event itself in just 5 days from now (at the time of writing). EA’s ‘Need For Speed: Underground’ (PS2/XB/GC/GBA/PC) continues to rise up the Charts thanks to price promotion – moving from No7 to No3. Eidos’ ‘Hitman: Contracts’ (PS2/XB/PC) drops one place to No4, Sony’s PS2 ‘GT4 Prologue’ is down one to No5, Symantec’s ‘Norton Internet Security 2004’ also drops one position to No6, Nintendo’s Gamecube ‘Pokemon Colosseum’ is No7 and Konami’s PS2/PC ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 3’ is No8. McAfee join Symantec in the Top 10 this week thanks to strong sales of ‘McAfee Internet Security V6.0’, moving from No34 to No9. Also moving in the right direction this week is EA’s ‘The Sims’ (PC/PS2/XB/GC), rising 7 places to No10 thanks to retail promotional activity. This week’s lone new entry on this Chart is Namco/Sony’s PS2 ‘Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2’, debuting at No22.
