Kid Rock holds off all challenges this week to take a second week on the No1 spot with ‘All Summer Long’ leaving Basshunter’s ‘All I Ever Wanted’ stationary at No2. With the release of their physical single The Script climb up into the Top 5 from last week’s No9 to this week’s No3 with ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ while Jordin Sparks ‘No Air’ drops a place from No3 to No4.

Dublin’s Keywest see their debut single ‘Livin’ In The Summertime’ enter the Singles Chart at No8 – this week’s highest new entry. This week also sees 2 versions of the same track battling it out for chart supremacy. Nicki Bliss takes her dance version of ‘I Kissed A Girl’ from last week’s No29 to this week’s No14 while the original version by Kate Perry enters the chart at No16 on download only prior to it’s official release. Coldplay take their seventh week at No1 with ‘Viva La Vida’ on this week’s Album Chart ahead of Basshunter who sticks at No2 and the The Ting Tings whose ‘We Started Nothing’ moves up from No7 to No3. Kid Rock’s 2007 release ‘Rock N Roll Jesus’ enters the Chart for the first time at No4 on the back of his No1 single. Michael Buble re-enters the Top 10 with ‘Call Me Irresponsible’ after his Donnybrook Stadium concert last weekend while 3 of his other albums re-enter the Top 40: ‘Caught In The Act’ at No19, ‘It’s Time’ at No22 and ‘Michael Buble’ at No33 .
