Bond is neither shaken nor stired from No1 spot

08/Mar/2004

‘James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing’ (PS2/XB/GC/GBA) is not shaken or stirred from its position at No1 in the All Formats Chart this week despite the release of the eagerly anticipated ‘Deus Ex: Invisible War’ (XB/PC) from Eidos which comes in at No3 and Sony’s PS2 online sequel ‘Socom II: US Navy Seals’ (PS2) which enters at No7.

In fact sales of the PS2 version of the James Bond title are up 25% giving the EA game as many sales as the next 4 titles combined across all formats. Sega’s ‘Sonic Heroes’ (PS2/XB/GC) manages to jump one place replacing ‘Final Fantasy X-2’ (PS2) at No2, while the Square-Enix/Electronic Arts RPG title falls 2 places from No2 to No4, selling less than half of last weeks total. Disney/THQ’s ‘Finding Nemo’ (PS2/GBA/PC/GC) re-enters the All Formats Top 10, climbing from No11 to No9 thanks to an increase of over 30% in PS2 sales. The highest climber however is Empire’s ‘Bad Boys II’ (PS2/XB/PC) which jumps 13 places from No25 to No12, with the PS2 version increasing in sales by a remarkable 68%.
