Black Eyed Peas prove unmovable at the top of this week’s Singles Chart as ‘I Gotta Feeling’ takes a third week at No1. Despite a strong challenge for the top spot, The Saw Doctors have to be content with No2 for ‘She Loves Me’ – their first release since 2008’s ‘About You Now’ which did make it to the top of the Chart

JLS move up a place with ‘Beat Again’ which rises to No3 while Mr Hudson Feat. Kanye West climb up the Chart as ‘Supernova’ moves from No7 to No4. Cascada’s ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’ drops 3 places to complete the Top 5. This week’s highest new entry belongs to David Guetta’s collaboration with Akon – ‘Sexy Bitch’ a track taken off his forthcoming album , which enters the Chart at No10. The Album Chart also sees no change at the top as Michael Jackson’s ‘The Essential’ has a fifth week at No1. U2 hold on to the second slot with ‘No Line On The Horizon’ whilst also seeing four previous albums re-enter the Top 50 after their weekend performances at Croke Park. The highest of which – ‘U218 Singles’ – re-enters the Chart at No13. The Script move up from last week’s No5 to No3 while Florence & The Machine drop a place from No3 down to No4. Wexford’s Wallis Bird makes her first appearance in the Irish Album Chart as ‘New Boots’, her follow up to 2007’s ‘Spoons’ , enters the Chart as this week’s highest new entry at No14.
