Crazy At The Top


Michael Bublé maintains his hold at the top of this week’s Album Chart for a second week with ‘Crazy Love’, despite a host of new releases and some strong competition. Cheryl Cole proves to be the strongest contender as ‘3 Words’, her debut solo album, enters the Chart at No2 closely followed by The Saw Doctors, who take their greatest hits package – ‘To Win Just Once’ – to No3.

Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’, released to coincide with the film of the same name, completes the trio of new releases in the Top 10 as it enters the Chart at No6. The next ten positions include new entries for R.E.M.’s ‘Live At The Olympia’ at No12, Katherine Jenkins ‘Believe’ at No15, Daniel O’Donnell’s ‘Peace In The Valley’ at No18 and The Swell Season’s ‘Strict Joy’ in at No19.

Cheryl Cole holds onto her lead on the Singles chart as ‘Fight For This Love’ takes a second week at No1. Westlife see their version of ‘What About Now’ - the first single from their forthcoming album and their first release since 2008  - enter the Chart at No2. This track appears twice in this week’s Top 40 as Daughtry see their version re-enter the Chart at No32. Alexandra Burke Feat. Flo Rida drops a place to No3 with ‘Bad Boys’ . Jay Sean Feat Lil Wayne are the only other new entry in this week’s Top 10 as ‘Down’ enters at No10.
