Musicians Hope For Haiti

This week’s chart headlines are grabbed by the MTV Networks ‘Hope For Haiti’ project, raising funds for the victims of last week's devastating earthquake on the island. An all-star line-up of perfomers joined the telethon on Friday and their contributions were available online the next day. more


Owl City Flying High

After debuting last week at No39 on just one day’s sales, Owl City (a.k.a. Adam Young from Minnesota) soars all the way to the top of the Singles Chart this week with ‘Fireflies’, adding Ireland to the impressive list of territories (including USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands & Denmark) where the song has topped the chart. more


The Lady’s Back – but it’s Glee’s Week

Lady Gaga takes her ‘Bad Romance’ back to the top of the Singles Chart this week after an absence of 4 weeks during which time the single never left the Top 3. Although a very close contender for the top spot, Sidney Samson’s ‘Riverside (Let’s Go!)’ has to be content with climbing one place to No2 while Iyaz also takes ‘Replay’ up one place to No3. more


Bright Start to 2010 For Paolo

In the first chart of the New Year, Paolo Nutini has this week’s best-selling album with ‘Sunny Side Up’ which returns to No1 after seven months in the Top 40 since release in June last year. Meanwhile his first album ‘These Streets’ climbs from No26 to No12, marking a great start to the new decade for the Scottish singer/songwriter. more
