Hat-Trick For Killers With Sam’s Town

The Killers take the No1 spot on the Album Chart for a third consecutive week since release with ‘Sam’s Town’, still selling more than twice as many copies as their nearest rival Snow Patrol, who climb back to No2 with ‘Eyes Open’.

The Killers Play It Again, Sam

The Killers hold at No1 on this week’s Album Chart for a second week with ‘Sam’s Town’: with sales declining just 35% on last week, their second week tally is still greater than all but 4 of this year’s Number One albums (Arctic Monkeys, Shayne Ward, Snow Patrol and Red Hot Chili Peppers).

The Killers – Talk Of the Town

The Killers debut at No1 on this week’s Album Chart with their second album ‘Sam’s Town’ with the highest weekly sales tally of any album so far this year (ahead of previous best Red Hot Chili Peppers ‘Stadium Arcadium’). Their first album ‘Hot Fuss’ entered the chart at No52 in June 2004 and went on to spend 11 weeks at No1 last year.
