Girls On Top

After debuting last week at No29 and No20 respectively on just one day’s sales, Cheryl Cole and Rihanna both leap up the Singles Chart this week to do battle for the top spot. Rihanna held the lead all week, but she’s pipped at the post by Cheryl who claims her second Irish No1 with ‘Promise This’. ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ gives Rihanna her eleventh Top 3 single in Ireland over five years, including three No1’s. more


The Kings Regain Their Crown

The Kings Of Leon land at No1 on this week’s Album Chart with their fifth studio album ‘Come Around Sundown’ – their third No1 album in Ireland, following ‘Because Of The Times’ (2007) and ‘Only By The Night’ (2008). more


The Script Remains The Same

The Script’s ‘Science & Faith’ takes a fifth week at No1 on this week’s Album Chart giving them the longest continuous stretch at the top this year to date. Robbie Williams claims this week’s highest new entry with his latest greatest hits package celebrating 20 years of recordings – ‘In and Out Of Consciousness’ - which enters the Chart at No2 while Imelda May holds steady at No3 with ‘Mayhem’. more


Bruno Mars Rockets to No1

Bruno Mars achieves his first Irish No1 Single this week as ‘Just The Way You Are’ climbs from No3 to the top of the Chart. Tinie Tempah drops down to No2 with ‘Written In The Stars (feat. Eric Turner)’ while The Script also drop a place to No3 with ‘For The First Time’. more
