Coldplay unleash their fifth studio album ‘Mylo Xyloto’ this week and unsurprisingly land at No1 – their fourth consecutive album to achieve this feat. Their previous release ‘Viva La Vida’ spent seven weeks at the top in the summer of 2008, but their best-seller to-date by a considerable margin is 2002’s ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’. more


First Noel

With five Irish No1 Oasis albums under his belt, Noel Gallagher succeeds this week where his younger brother failed – he debuts at No1 with his first post-Oasis release ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’, two places ahead of Liam’s Beady Eye debut at No3 back in March. more
