Ronan Keating has three Irish No1 albums under his belt with Boyzone in the nineties, but this week he claims his first solo chart-topper with ‘Songs For My Mother’, up from last week’s No4 and no doubt fuelled by Mothers Day last Sunday. more


Easy Rida

Flo Rida chalks up his second Irish No1 Single this week as ‘Right Round’ repeats the success of his debut release ‘Low’ which reached the top in February last year, and also repeats the success of the original from which it’s sampled – Dead Or Alive’s ‘You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)’ which reached No1 in 1985. more


Charity Campaign Conquers Chart

There’s a brand new entry at No1 on this week’s Singles Chart for Julie-Anne Dineen with ‘Do You Believe’. Cancer survivor Julie-Ann released the CD as a fundraiser for the Limerick Breast Cancer Unit in Dooradoyle, having recorded the song while undergoing chemotherapy treatment. more

U2 storm straight to the top of the Album Chart this week with their 12th studio album ‘No Line On The Horizon’ – the fastest-selling album in Ireland since ‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’, their previous studio album which was released in November 2004. more
