Still More Hot Fuss

This week’s Album Chart sees no change at the top as The Killers ‘Hot Fuss’, Stereophonics ‘Language. Sex. Violience. Other?’ and 50 Cent’s ‘The Massacre’ hold on to the Top 3 spots respectively. This week’s highest new entry is the new solo album from John Spillane – ‘Hey Dreamer’ – which debuts at No 4. The third album from this Cork based artist achieves his highest chart position to date – 2002’s ‘Will We Be Brilliant Or What?’ reached No14 whilst 1997’s ‘Wells Of The World’ didn’t chart.

The Way To Number One

Comic Relief produces the No1 single for a third week but this time with Tony Christie & Peter Kay’s ‘(Is This The Way To) Amarillo’ which climbs to the top from last week’s No5 and has the biggest one week sales of any single so far in 2005.
Gwen Stefani and Eve hold at No2 for a second week with ‘Rich Girl’ ahead of 50 Cent’s ‘Candy Shop’ which stays at No3. This week’s highest new entry is Mariah Carey’s new single – ‘It’s Like That’ which enters the chart at No11.
