Maroon 5 take the long route to the top

After 18 consecutive weeks in the Top 40, Maroon 5 climb 3 places this week from No4 to the Top Spot on the Albums Chart with 'Songs About Jane'. There's consolation, however, for Damien Rice whose 'B-Sides' drops to No2 - his previous album 'O' climbs from No5 to No3. In a quiet week for new releases, The Finn Brothers have this week's highest new entry at No18 with 'Everyone Is Here'. more


Natasha uses 'These Words' to reach the top

This week sees a new entry claiming the No1 spot on the Singles Chart as Natasha Bedingfield's second release 'These Words" goes straight in at the top. Ozone's 'Dragostea Din Tei' drops a place to No2 whilst the Counting Crows hold on to No3 with 'Accidentally In Love'. more


O-Zones steady climb to No. 1

After 10 weeks on the Singles Chart O-Zone claim the No1 spot with their summer hit 'Dragostea Din Tei' ending the Streets' 'Dry YOur Eyes' 3 week reign at the top. Counting Crows hold on to No3 with 'Accidentally In Love' (from Shrek 2) as D12 climbs to No4 with 'How Come'. This week's highest new entry is 3 Of A Kind who enter the chart at No15 with 'Baby Cakes'. more


Streets cut up by the Sisters

The Streets makes it 3 weeks at No1 on the Singles Chart with 'Dry Your Eyes', but O-Zone close the gap from 2,000 sales to 200 sales this week as 'Dragostea Din Tei' holds at No2. Counting Crows climb from No6 to No3 with 'Accidentally In Love' (from Shrek 2), ahead of Usher's 'Burn' - down from No3 to No4. There are 2 new entries in this week's Top 10: Avril Lavigne's 'My Happy Ending' at No9 and Anastacia's' Sick And Tired' at No10. more
