Five years after her debut single ‘I Kissed A Girl’ spent four weeks at No1 on the Irish Singles Chart, Katy Perry hits the top spot again this week with ‘Roar’ – the lead single from her upcoming fourth album ‘Prism’ due for release in October. more



Despite a very strong challenge from Ellie Goulding, Avicii holds on to the No1 spot on the Singles Chart for another week with ‘Wake Me Up’– his seventh week at the top – equalling Robin Thicke’s seven week record for this year with ‘Blurred Lines’. more


The Hit Effect

‘Wake Me Up’ holds on to the No1 spot again this week outselling the closest competition by more than 2:1 giving Avicii six straight weeks at the top of the Singles Chart, but for a second week ‘The Hit’ TV show produces the highest new entry of the week as Ryan O’Shaughnessy’s ‘Who Do You Love’ debuts at No3 – equalling the performance of his only other charting song ‘No Name’ which also entered the chart at No3 a year ago. more


Avicii Wide Awake At No1

There is no sleeping on the job for Avicii this week as he holds on to the No1 spot on the Singles Chart for a fifth week with ‘Wake Me Up’. more
