For a seventh consecutive week it’s all change at the top of the Album Chart: this week The Scissor Sisters enter at No1 with their second album ‘Ta-Dah’. Their self-titled debut album took 6 months to climb to the top back in August 2004 and has spent 70 weeks in the Top 40. more


Justin Hits Double-Top

Justin Timberlake debuts at No1 on this week’s Album Chart with his second solo album ‘Futuresex/Lovesounds’, becoming the first artist of 2006 to top the Irish Singles and Album Charts in the same week – and the first since Westlife performed the same feat with ‘You Raise Me Up’ and ‘Face To Face’ back in November 2005. In contrast, his debut solo release ‘Justified’ came in at No24 and took 12 weeks to reach No1 in February 2003. more

Justin Timberlake holds at No1 for a second week on the Singles Chart with ‘Sexyback’, despite a surge in downloads for Cascada’s ‘Everytime We Touch’ which closes last week’s gap between the top 2 singles. more
